A Message from the 2007 Executive Board:
We rely on volunteer committees to serve our members and grow our organization. Serving on a committee is a great opportunity to network while building leadership skills. Below is an overview of our committees: - The Corporate Relations Committee forges relationships with corporations and professional associations in the New York area. Please contact Justin Reyes for more information. - The Marketing and Membership Committee coordinates marketing for NSHMBA events and services, in addition to organizing networking events. Please contact Edwina Cruz for more information. - The MBA Pipeline Committee forges relationships with graduate business schools, introduces our members to opportunities that an MBA offers, and educates our members about the application process and funding options. Please contact Jeffrey Torromoreno for more information. - The Technology Committee maintains our website and databases which keep our members informed of events, job postings, volunteer opportunities. Please contact Laura García for more information. - The Professional Development Committee provides our members with access to top employers, leadership development training, and latest industry issues. Please contact Jim Huerta for more information. - The Advisory Board Committee is a committee that provides direction to board members in building the NSHMBA chapter. Membership is limited to executive members. Please contact Nick Nonis or Orna Wiseman for more information. As a committee member, you will volunteer 1-2 hours per week.
